Its been awhile

again life gets in the way, I wish I had more time to take more pictures and post them but work has to be first, without money all this isnt possible.

a word and a bird

So I havent posted in quite a while, Ive been going for drives and doing less shooting and more watching of the world around me. Photography has opened up my eyes to see whats around me and now Im finally taking the time to breath it all in instead of trying to capture it.
We live in a pretty amazing place and the more I look around the more conscious I get about buying earth friendly things. I may not be around in 50 years but Im doing my best to make sure people then dont have to look at my pictures to see a place or an animal that doesnt exist anymore.

Anyway I have 2 photos, both of ducks. My wife was feeding them so they become our friends pretty fast. She was feeding them bird seed, we NEVER feed birds bread because it isnt good for them. If you want to feed any animal make sure you check to see whats good for them. Ducks and geese like cracked corn and its super cheap, we can get 2-3 summers out of a bag thats $11.50 CDN. Thats a great price for the entertainment we get.

Niagara, African Lion Safari and Ripleys Aquarium!

Well Im on vacation right now so I have had some time to get out and shoot. First was Niagara Falls Butterfly Conservatory, if you havent been then imagine its like heaven with plants and butterflies off all colors flying around you. When you step into that room all your troubles just disappear.

Second on our stop was African Lion Safari, its a place where you drive your car through different "regions" and see all sorts of animals. You name it, they have it! There are always 2 cars watching the big cats in case someone jumps out or rolls down the window.

They also have different shows that you can attend for the cost of admission into the part itself.

If you are ever in Cambridge you might want to check this place out.

 Third on our list is Ripley's Aquarium, they have a little bit of everything you might find in the sea. They have a walk thru tunnel with sharks, stingrays and various fish swimming around you. It really is amazing to see.
If you are ever in Toronto this is a must for people that love nature that you dont get to see a lot of.

Been a while

Sorry I havent been active but sometimes life and work gets in the way of having fun. Anyways I went for a walk today and saw a few birds, lets hope this is the start to the season of shooting
